Features
A 300 A machine in a 15 kg, 460 × 200 × 320 mm package, in a rugged composite casing built for the roughest environments. Where a welder has to carry the machine to the joint rather than drag cable to it, the weight is the specification that matters most.
The machine detects the supply and operates on any input voltage between 230 V and 480 V three-phase, and on 230 V single phase. One machine therefore works across sites, countries and generators without a changeover switch or a configuration step that can be got wrong.
Professional MMA welding with electrodes up to 6 mm at a high duty cycle of 300 A at 40%, explicitly rated by ESAB as ideal for operation in high ambient temperatures — the relevant qualification for UAE and GCC site work.
A powerful voltage booster provides additional arc voltage for superior cellulosic weld performance. Cellulosic electrodes (such as E6010 and E7010 used in pipeline root runs) need a high and responsive arc voltage that lighter inverters struggle to hold.
The machine automatically adjusts to optimal start and stop parameters based on the set welding current, so arc starts stay consistent across the current range without the operator tuning hot start and arc force by hand.
Open circuit voltage is 48 V, reduced to 32 V with VRD for environments with increased electrical hazard (application class S). Energy save mode draws 91 W, with a 0.96 power factor and 89% efficiency at maximum MMA current.
The control panel uses a light background that stays readable in dark environments — inside a vessel, a tank or a hull section, where a backlit dark panel washes out under a welding helmet.
