Features
The smart-MIG (sMIG) feature dynamically monitors arc characteristics and adapts to the operator’s technique, producing a smooth, stable arc. Set wire diameter, material and plate thickness and the machine is ready to weld — which removes most of the setup guesswork that causes inconsistent results between welders.
Start parameters adjust automatically to give distinct, precise arc starts every time, regardless of wire type and diameter. Start defects are a common source of rework on short welds, and this addresses them in the machine rather than in operator technique.
The user-friendly multilingual TFT display incorporates spare parts lists and weld parameter guides for every process. The machine carries its own reference material, so a welder on site does not need the paper manual to look up a setting or a consumable part number.
A robust 4-wheel wire feed mechanism delivers both high speed and high torque, giving consistent weld quality regardless of the material being welded. Wire feed speed is adjustable from 2.0 to 20.3 m/min, and the feeder takes both 200 mm and 300 mm spools.
Full MMA performance with stick electrodes up to 5 mm, including adjustable hot start and arc force. Lift TIG performance includes adjustable pre- and post-gas flow and weld current ramp up and down, with slope control for crater filling.
Two gas inlets, one for MIG and one for TIG, can be connected simultaneously. A built-in TIG gas solenoid valve on the front of the machine removes the need for a manual valve on the TIG torch — so switching between MIG and TIG work does not mean re-plumbing the gas.
At 31.4 kg in a 686 × 292 × 495 mm case, the machine can be lifted manually or moved on the optional 2-wheel trolley. It is rated IP23S, so it is suited to workshop and sheltered site use.
